APPOINTMENTS

Standard hours are from 9am-4pm

Limited after hours sessions are available on request, I know only too well the difficulty trying to access the support you need whilst working full time. For after hours bookings, please get in touch as these aren’t available through our online booking portal.

I offer outreach services, following intake, for certain clients, ask me if you qualify.


 
 

FEES

Therapy and counselling providers set rates based upon professional skill-sets, costs of running their practice as well as a multitude of other factors.

I am a registered NDIS provider and may be able to support you through your NDIS plan.

At this point, I am unable to provide medicare rebates.

I am an approved Victims Services counsellor and can support you through your VS plan.

Fees

My fees vary dependent on the counselling program you are attending under.

Adult Private clients and NDIS Self/Plan managed:

Initial appointments $150

Ongoing appointments $130

Couples counselling $190 Initial and $175 ongoing

Children/Young people (under 21yr)

Initial appointments $170

Ongoing appointments $150

Victim of Crime Counselling:

Free of charge to the client. Your counsellor receives $120/hr (minimum) reimbursement from the NSW Department of Justice.

Cancellation policy

I value your time and I want to ensure as a counsellor, I am available to those who need support. If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please text or call as soon as possible so we can reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24hours notice forfeit their booking fee.

 

 
 

Brightwaters Therapy Confidentiality Policy

During our session notes are taken and stored in a secure location. The purpose of the notes is typically to keep track of progress and plan future interventions. Notes are stored in a locked filing cabinet in our practice and on a password protected computer system, where only your counsellor has access. Your notes are private except with your written consent or upon subpoena. Should you wish to obtain your notes, you may do so with a written request to Brightwaters Therapy.

All sessions are confidential as required by the Australian Counselling Association ‘Code of Ethics and Practice’ unless it is believed there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, child endangerment or it is required by a court order. If these situations occur, wherever possible, it will be discussed it with you.
